Case Study:
Electrolux

Transforming HR Operations

Selecting the right vendors and implementing those systems effectively is crucial to enhancing organisational efficiency, aligning HR with strategic business goals, remaining competitive and ultimately reducing costs.

Our client, Electrolux, were looking for a solution to streamline operations, optimise decision-making and advance their strategic goals.

That’s where we came in.

The Challenge

Electrolux sought new systems that would modernise and streamline their HR operations. The first challenge they faced came in selecting the right vendors and solutions for their business needs. New solutions were required across various areas of their operations, including Talent Acquisition, Electronic Document Management, a Learning Experience Platform, and HR Shared Services deployment. However, navigating the complex landscape of vendor selection and management required expert guidance to ensure that the chosen solutions aligned perfectly with Electrolux's vision for HR transformation.

The Solution

We set to work, collaborating closely with the team at Electrolux to better understand their complex requirements and existing problems. From there, we were able to guide them through the challenging process of vendor selection and management, facilitating multiple Requests for Proposals (RFPs) for various operational areas that needed to be addressed. Through meticulous evaluation and analysis we were able to help Electrolux identify the partners that best supported their requirements.

How we've provided further support...

With the right vendors in place, we then assumed responsibility for the delivery of these solutions, ensuring seamless implementation and adoption across Electrolux’s global operations.

Over many years of service, we've spearheaded a range of HR projects, including:

  • The LinkedIn talent management global dashboard merger
  • Various Phenom implementations, including a new career site - change to Candidate Relationship with Phenom, including both external and internal mobility career sites
  • The deployment of Learning Experience Platform for Functional Academies, including business and technical foundations for skills-based organisations
  • Global deployment of ServiceNow to three additional regions, alongside a People focused knowledge management portal launched to support a Workday initiative.
  • Global policy and procedural awareness of knowledge management and the people portal with local variations.

The Results

The transition to new, carefully selected systems has yielded significant results for Electrolux's HR operations and strategy. Below are some key outcomes from our partnership:

Enhanced efficiency

Electrolux experienced a significant boost in efficiency. Streamlined processes, reduced manual work, and improved overall operational efficiency were achieved across various functions.

Strategic alignment

Now that all initiatives are closely aligned with the company's long-term vision, their operations have become more agile and adaptable. Electrolux is better positioned to respond to market changes and make better-informed decisions.

Cost Savings

Implementing efficient systems has led to tangible cost savings for Electrolux. Optimising processes and improving resource allocation, has reduced administrative overheads and achieved better utilisation of resources.
